Parks and Recreation
The Ferrysburg Park System includes a soccer field, ball diamonds, picnic shelters, playgrounds, and basketball, sand volleyball and tennis courts. The sand dunes at Coast Guard Park and the Kitchel/Lindquist Dunes Preserve offer hiking trails and, in the winter, sledding and cross-country skiing. Open year-round. No entrance fees.
Coast Guard Park - North Shore Road, 1 mile west of 174th Avenue.
Ferrysburg Nature Preserve
Fire Barn Park - North Shore Road at 174th Avenue.
Kitchel/Lindquist Dunes Preserve - North Shore Drive at Berwyck Street.
Mike Herman Park - Located in South Holiday Hills at 17742 Hiawatha Drive. This park is home to the new tennis courts, softball field, basketball courts and in the winter ice rink.
Sunnyside Park - 17200 Valley City Avenue
Pine Street/West Spring Lake Road Bike Path - Along Spring Lake's shore line, starts at William Montague Ferry Park and continues through Fruitport, Spring Lake Township and Spring Lake Village. The bike path is an approximate 15 mile loop with rest stops along the way.

North Beach Park is located on the shore of Lake Michigan off of North Shore Road on the shores of Lake Michigan. The park is operated by the Ottawa County Parks and Recreation Department. Reservations can be made for use of the picnic shelter by contacting Ottwa County Parks and Recreation Departmetn at 616-738-4810.
