Giant Maintenance and Restoration will be conducting routine fire hydrant painting on your property. This work ensures that hydrants remain highly visible to firefighters and protected from corrosion. Tentative Project Start Date: Monday August 3rd, 2026, Estimated Completion Date: August 24th, 2026, Hours of Operation: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
What to Expect During Painting Primer Coats: Hydrants may temporarily appear painted in a solid primer color (such as white or yellow) while the base cures. Wet Paint Warnings: Crews will leave “Wet Paint” signs or markers near the hydrants. How You Can Help with Vehicle Clearance: Please ensure vehicles are not parked directly in front of or immediately adjacent to fire hydrants to allow our crews room to work.
Protect Personal Property: Keep pets and children a safe distance from wet hydrants to avoid contact with paint. Do Not Touch: Please leave warning signs in place until the paint is completely dry. We appreciate your cooperation and patience while we complete this essential community safety project. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the painting program, please contact our office at 616-842-5803 or email us at info@ferrysburg.org.
Sincerely,
